Remembrance Day Blog

On November 8th we had a Remembrance Day Mass for grades 7-12 we talked about people who fought for our freedom, and why the soldiers sacrifice their lives. We should be thankful because without the soldiers we would not have our freedom, we would not get to live the way we live now, and we would not get to believe in our own religion.

On the Same Day at 3:15 pm we had a Remembrance Day Ceremony. There were Cadets that opened the Ceremony. We sang O Canada. There were poems, and speeches from grades 6-12. They were all good, except for one that was really long and I couldn't even hear it. Then we listened to God Save the Queen. Then the Ceremony Finished.
