In the Philippines typhoon Haiyan hit in the Eastern Visayas region ,Western Visayas region, Central Visayas, other regions and the Philippine national. In the Eastern Visayas region the typhoon left 3,725 dead, 17,821 injured and 1,574 missing. The Western Visayas region had 161 dead, 228 injured and 19 missing. In central Visayas region, which includes Cebu had 74 dead, 102, and 5 missing.  In other regions they are 16 dead, and 24 injured.

Many countries have being helping the Philippines such as Australia, Japan, Indonesia, UAE, U.S, U.K, and Asia Development Bank. Australia gave 9.3M including medical staff, shelter materials, water containers and hygiene kits. Japan gave 10M, including tents blankets and 25 medical staff.  UAE gave 10M in humanitarian aid. U.S gave 20M in humanitarian aid, 90 marines, aircraft carrier plus logistics support. U.K gave 16M including emergency shelters, water and household items. Asia development bank gave a 500M emergency reconstruction loan and 23M in grants.
