Literature Circles and O.M.A.T.S Poster

In ELA we are starting literature circles. In lit circles we read a lead book called Family Ties and answer questions about it. We then discuss the book in small groups and share our answers with each other. After that we can choose our second book, some examples of the books we can choose are: Schooled, Planting seeds, Animal instincts, Sky high, and In the margins. We then do the same process with discussing and sharing our answers in small groups.

In ELA we are also presenting our posters for Old Man and The Sea. We had to read the whole book and then pick a theme for the poster. We write some paragraphs about it and attach pictures and quotes around the poster. We also decorate the sides and the empty spaces with other decorations.
