In ELA, we are learning about a book called The Old Man and The Sea. It is about a man named Santiego and his three days out in the sea while he tries to catch a fish. He is a poor old man who, once, went sixty-four days without catching a single fish. He goes out to sea and ends up staying there for about 3 days. He catches a big fish and he takes it home by towing it along the side of the boat. Along the way however, some sharks come and attack him, taking pieces of the fish with them. He reaches his hometown late on the third day. The following day a lot of villagers praise Santiego for his hard work and they use what is left of the fish.
